I’m a pro at failure.

Sure, I’m also a certified coach, reinvention expert, speaker and author — but what I really am is a professional permission granter.

Now, I can’t grant you three wishes and I don’t squeeze myself into a lamp (or a dress, or jeans or heels, thank you loungewear), but what I can do is help you release the myth of perfection and learn how to do the work in order to get to the other side.

What started as a woman burned out from years in corporate, has turned into becoming an author and change maker, a speaker and trainer, a presenter and wisdom-seeker. (more on that below)

Not only do I grant permission, I help people and organizations to overcome struggle through supportive coaching and facilitated culture change.

It started on the bedroom floor

To look at me, it’s hard to believe I have over two decades of experience (just play along). And over those years I’ve become known for being the go-to voice for life transformation and professional reinvention.

But things didn’t start out that way. In fact, it wasn’t until I found myself laying on my bedroom floor on my 13th wedding anniversary, completely burned out from my toxic work environment, that I knew I needed to make a change.

Raise your hand if this sounds familiar

I was overwhelmed, unappreciated and stuck. I didn’t recognize the person looking back at me in the mirror. A person who pretended everything was fine because I didn’t want to “bring work home” to my family.

So I did the scariest thing I could think of. I decided to ask for help. That led to finding coaching and transforming myself and my life. I started to put myself first and saw that other people desperately needed permission to do the same.

Failure leads to freedom

One of the things that makes me a sought after expert is my ability to relate to my clients through my own life experiences. In fact, if I had a nickel for every time a client said that I “get” them, well, I’d be making a lot of trips to Coinstar.

Some of my proudest moments as a speaker and coach include:

  • Successfully pivoting my business during a pandemic to help serve over 250 clients virtually

  • Delivering my TEDx talk on overcoming fear

  • Helping inspire a teenage audience member to have the confidence to come out to his parents.

  • Working with entrepreneurs to help them create clear paths to profitability via pop up shops.

I’ve been featured in Forbes, TODAY Parents, FOX News and a ton of media outlets and podcasts for my expertise on transformation and reinvention and I don’t plan to shut up anytime soon.

Growing up Krista

I graduated from Bauder College (if you’ve heard of it, I’ll grant you that wish) with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, which is the obvious choice when you end up having a decades long career in technology. I abandoned it all several years ago to attend the Coach Training Alliance and received a certification in Transformational Life and Executive Coaching.

I call both NYC and CT home, where I reside with my very supportive, genius level husband, two very tall and active sons and our pandemic puppy, Boomer. When I’m not doing all things work related, you can find me walking the dog, cooking up a storm for my latest dinner guests, paddleboarding on the lake, or most likely, schlepping the boys to various sporting events. Oh and if there’s any time left over, I spend it trying to make the world a better place through advocacy.

Now I want to
give you permission.
